Scripta Studio is the creative practice of Emily Grigone, an independent graphic designer and visual artist based in the Pacific Northwest, where the mighty Columbia River meets the vast Cascade Range. Some curiosities that influence her work include nature, structure + pattern, human connection, and consciousness.
Emily brings an organized + artistic approach to design, creating enriching tools and experiences that deliver clarity and delight. She is interested in the role graphic design holds in social discourse and human-centered change and is most passionate about working on projects that give rise to expression, introspection, and connectivity. Above all, Emily holds an acute sensitivity and awareness for each of her client’s challenges and opportunities and works collaboratively to steer the path toward creative problem solving, resulting in relevant, authentic, and meaningful brands.
Emily works within a wide range of industries, including outdoor recreation, architecture + construction, music, and educational + cultural institutions. She collaborates with many creative individuals and design studios around the West Coast and beyond.
In her spare time, you’ll find Emily in her art studio drawing and painting, riding her bike, or wandering in the woods with her dog.
